Pinnacle produced their 3rd pro boxing event at the classic Teamster Temple in the hipster Lawrenceville section of Pittsburgh. Saturday's show arguably was one of the better club show's in recent Pittsburgh memory. It kicked off with:

-The always tough (8-10-3) Eric Palmer took on undefeated unknown West Virginian (2-0) Prientkes Sanders. Majority Draw

-Junior Middleweights (0-0-1) Mark Daley of Pittsburgh TKO'd 2 (1-3) Brandon Davis of Ohio. Daley knocked down Davis 3 times in the contest.

-In the most spirited fight of the night, Sam "The Butcher" Suska improved to 4-3 (3 KO) by TKO'ing rugged veteran Rick Morais of Detroit. The mustached, John L. Sullivan looking Suska donned trunks honoring the names of Pittsburgh boxing legends Conn (Billy) and Greb (Harry). Which also is the name of the nearby gym he trains at, The Conn-Greb Boxing Club. Suska's conditioning, relentless attack, and Hall & Oates ring walk song made his a crowd favorite.

-in a ballsy great match up of undefeated Jr. Middleweights, (3-0) Justin Steve had a lackluster 1st round against (3-0) Joel Guevara. That changed quickly in the 2nd when Steve connected with a left hook follow through to the jaw that sent Guevara down and out. Steve goes to 4-0 with a stunning 2nd round TKO.

-Don King heavyweight prospect 16-0 Trevor Bryan won a 6 round UD over 44-33 journeyman Galen Brown. Brown mounted no kind of offense and took a beating, but the crafty veteran taunted Bryan throughout in a lackluster fight.

-44 year old former cruiserweight world champion 44-3 (33KOs)Guillermo Jones won a MD over philly's always rugged 16-10 Garret Wilson. Despite having a huge height and reach advantage, Jones chopped away on the inside of the smaller Wilson.

-Coming off his 1st pro loss, 18-1 Amir Imam looked polished and sharp dispatching overmatched Nicaraguan puncher 16-19 Wilfredo Acuna via 3rd round TKO.

-in the main event, local undefeated middleweight prospect 2-0 Gerald "G5" Sherrell took out Detroit's Keith Bullock via 1st round TKO. The overmatched Bullock showed up to fight and took this on 2 days notice after a string of opponents pulled out late on Sherrell. Sherrell, the slick middleweight prospect and former college football player, managed by Integrity Fighter Management LLC, is the Steel City's brightest pro prospect.
