Krystal Rosado shook off the sight of her own blood to remain perfect in the infancy of her pro career.

The former amateur standout and current junior bantamweight hopeful went the distance in a four-round shutout victory over Kata Pap. All three judges scored the contest 40-36 for Rosado in their DAZN-aired contest Friday evening at Caribe Royale in Orlando, Florida.

Rosado is managed by reigning undisputed featherweight champion Amanda Serrano (45-2-1, 30KOs), who defends her lineal, WBA, IBF and WBO titles versus Danila Ramos (12-2, 1KO) in the main event.

Early adversity was dealt to Rosado, who suffered a cut high atop the left side of her scalp due to a clash of heads. The 20-year-old prospect from Carolina, Puerto Rico was unfazed by the sight of her own blood, and stuck to her supreme boxing skills when it was realized that the knockout was not in the cards.

Pap (1-1, 1KO) was game but badly outgunned. Rosado worked her jab and was effective with her left hook to the body as she outpaced the visiting Hungarian throughout the four-round affair. Rosado advanced to 2-0 (1KO) with the win, just two months after an explosive second-round knockout in her pro debut at this site.

Also on the show:

Damazion Vanhouter (5-0, 3KOs) earned a four-round, unanimous decision over Nafys Anas (4-1, 3KOs). The DAZN opener between unbeaten cruiserweights saw Saint Petersburg’s Vanhouter prevail by scores of 40-36, 39-37 and 39-37.

Preceding the main DAZN card, Kissimmee’s Antonio Vargas outpointed faded former flyweight titlist Hernan ‘Tyson’ Marquez (47-11-2, 33KOs) over ten rounds. Vargas (17-1, 9KOs) dropped Mexico’s Marquez in round two and won by scores of 99-89 on all three scorecards to return to the win column after he was forced to settle for a No-Contest on May 12 in this very venue.
