After winning the Fedelatin WBA super welterweight championship on July 31, Alfonso "El Huracan" Mosquera (21-7) went back to the Al Brown Arena in Colon, Panama on Saturday night to win the WBC's Latin American belt in the same division by knocking out Mexican Joel Juarez (26-12-1) at 2:32 of the second round.

Panamanian former world challenger Roinet Caballero (28-10-1) outboxed Colombian Jose Miguel Payares (9-5) to win by unnanimous decision in 9 rounds and claim the WBA Fedecaribe super featherweight championship.

 

Dominican Jonathan Arias (11-6) overcame local Humberto Peña (11-3-2) by DQ in the 10th and final round.

Julio "El Rayo Chapin" Canastuj (2-5), from Guatemala, won by unnanimous decision over local Aris Rodriguez (1-1-1).
