Because he believes he still has the tools and motivation needed to make an impact, Jose Alfaro (23-6, 20KOs), is subjected to a fierce training camp to prepare for his fight on September 3 in Managua, Nicaragua.

The former WBA world champion at 135 pounds, his head coach, Gustavo Herrera, who will directly in the corner for his next fight in Managua, as well as his commitment on October 24 in Japan against unbeaten Yoshihiro Kamegai (16-0, 14 KOs).

"Thank God I have been in the ring, it is true that I lost my last two fights, but you know that in Mexico I deserved a better result against Erik Morales, but hey, the important thing is that I'm happy and ready to return to action," said Alfaro.

He lost to Antonio Demarco in October 2009 and in March of this year he lost to Morales by unanimous decision.

"I have great confidence for my fight on 3 September, which I understand will be against a Mexican, then I will prepare a special way when I hope to travel to Japan and seek to win against this guy who is undefeated and ranked 10th in the ranking of the WBA at 140 pounds," said the boxer.
