Undefeated cruiserweight Alexey Egorov will face former world title challenger Lateef Kayode tonight at the Florentine Gardens in El Monte, California.

Tonight will mark the third time Egorov will fight in a 10 round bout.

Egorov (5-0, 4 knockouts) stopped Luther Smith in the opening round of his last fight on June 2 in Atlantic City. He has won his last three bouts by knockout.

The 27-year-old Egorov, who resides in Obninsk, Russia, is managed by Vadim Kornilov.

Kayode (21-3 1 NC, 16 KOs) is originally from Nigeria and now resides in the Hollywood, California area. In his last bout on May 11, Kayode was knocked out in round six by unbeaten Andrew Tabiti.

Kayode challenged then-WBA titleholder Denis Lebedev in December of 2015, losing by knockout in round eight. He was lost his last three bouts.

Another fighter managed by Kornilov will also see action tonight in El Monte.

Welterweight Radzhab Butaev will face gatekeeper Ramses Agaton in an eight round bout.

Butaev (8-0, 6 KOs), who is also from Russia and now resides in Brooklyn, N.Y., last fought on Nov. 10, defeating Janer Gonzalez by unanimous decision over eight rounds.

The 24-year-old Butaev also has victories over Sherzodbek Alimjanov and Gabor Gorbics.

Agaton (20-8-3, 10 KOs), who resides in the Mexico City area, has lost six of his last eight bouts.

Hard-hitting welterweight Carlos Sanchez (16-0, 15 KOs) of San Felipe, Mexico will take on veteran Brian Jones (14-9, 8 KOs) in a six round bout.
