2004 Puerto Rico Olympian Alex 'El Pollo' De Jesus (20-1, 13 KO's), who was released from prison on December 21 after serving four years and two months in the Correctional Institution in Bayamon, Puerto Rico for domestic violence, will resume his career in 2014 and plans to return on or before March - stating that his goal is to catch up and become a world champion at 140 pounds.

"I'll be back with a new team and at 140 pounds. I hope to do my first fight in March or earlier but we will discuss it with my managers. But I am now adjusting to being in the free community. In there you feel different and have to get used to everything again. But I'm still the same and come with a lot of enthusiasm," said the 30 year old boxer.

De Jesus has reportedly signed a pact with Cameron Dunkin as manager and he is promoted by PR Best Boxing.
