Peruvian world champion Alberto "Chiquito" Rossel will be defending his interim-world light flyweight title of the World Boxing Association (WBA) on March 8th at Coliseum Dibos in Lima, Peru, against challenger and WBA #13 rated Gabriel Mendoza in a promotion of Jorge Bartra Productions. It will be the fourth defense of Rossel since conquered the world beltin April 2012 in Lima after winning a unanimous decision in twelve rounds against Jose Alfredo Rodriguez. Rossel has a record of 31-8 and 13 KOs. Mendoza, who will fight in his first world title fight, will come in with a record of 19-2-2 and 16 knockouts.
