“Badia Spices Friday Night Fights” has announced their first main event for the professional boxing card to be held at the Magic City Casino –site of the old Flagler Dog Track on NW 7 Street and 37th Avenue in Miami- between two very tough middleweights on the edge of world rankings.

Eromosele Albert (22-4-1 with 10 KO) is a two time Olympian with a stellar amateur record that included winning a silver medal at the World Boxing Cup as well as several African championships. Now residing in South Florida, Albert has headlined ESPN shows and fought in the United States, Russia, Kazakhstan, Chile and Canada compiling impressive wins over world rated fighters including the legendary Yori Boy Campas and  Daniel Edouard.

Eromosele’s opponent will be Joaquin Zamora (18-2 with 12 KO), a slugger from New Mexico who has logged thirteen straight wins in a career where he has traded leather with some of the toughest pros in the western region, beating veteran James Crayton and knocking out prospects Ray Sanchez and Joshua Renteria.

“This will be a war,” predicts promoter Ramiro Ortiz, “Albert is a very good boxer who throws a lot of combinations and is not afraid to swap punches and Zamora is a tough, hungry slugger who attacks constantly and also throws a lot of punches. This is a fight between two fighters that most middleweights avoid and the styles mesh well for a very good, very even match.”

Ticket prices range from $15 general admission to $100 for ringside, with free parking facilities. Tickets can be purchased via phone by calling the casino at 305-460-6579 or can be purchased via internet at:  www.magiccitycasino.com
