Production Park Studios, South Kirkby - For the British and Commomwealth junior welterweight titles, Akeem Ennis-Brown (14-0, 1 KO) won a twelve round unanimous decision over Philip Bowes (20-4, 3 KOs). The scores were 115-112, 115-112, 116-111.

It was very grueling fight with both boxers willing to exchange shots at close range. The action was very close in many of the rounds as they never stopped throwing punches. During the bout, Bowes was penalized a point for what appeared be holding or pushing Brown down.

For the BBBofC English light heavyweight title, Dan Azeez (12-0, 8 KOs) stopped Andre Sterling (11-3) in the ninth round.

Azeez slowly broke down Sterling, including a knockdown in the sixth. Sterling was battered and bruised as he was being controlled in the ninth, with his corner throwing in the towel during the action.

In a light heavyweight clash, Padraig McCrory (11-0, 5 KOs) demolished Mickey Ellison (12-3) in the first round.

A huge right hand sent Ellison down hard and the fight was waved off by the referee. It was the first stoppage loss for Ellison.

Super featherweight prospect Mark McKeown (3-0, 1 KO) stopped Levi Dunn (0-1), who was making his pro debut, in the fourth round. McKeown battered Dunn with punches until the referee stepped in to wave off the fight.

Junior welterweight prospect Harlem Eubank (10-0, 3 KOs) scored an eight round stoppage over Martin McDonagh (8-2).
