DeMarcus Corley's storied career roll continued with yet another voyage and with yet another loss.

The former WBO light welterweight titlist has also reached his milestone 30th defeat, when he was decisioned in one-sided fashion by former IBO world title challenger Aik Shakhnazaryan, who at 24 (turns 25 in a month) is twenty years younger then the veteran gatekeeper.

The scores were: 100-90, 99-92 and 98-92 - for Aik, whose record is now 22-2, 11 KOs.

Shakhnazaryan also captured a vacant interim WBA Asia title in process.

Corley, meanwhile, is now 51-30-2, with 28 KOs. His next stop is a rematch with another long-serving veteran Vivian Harris (32-12-2, 19 KOs), whom he had beaten tightly the last year. That fight is scheduled to take place on July 21 in Memphis.

In a co-main event, cruiserweight Ruslan Fayfer (23-0, 16 KOs) came back to the ring following the longest break in his rising career - seven months off - to overwhelm and then stop Ghanaian import Emmanuel Danso (28-3, 23 KOs) in four one-sided rounds.

Fayfer, 27, is ranked #2 by the IBF and #9 by both WBA and WBO, meaning that an occasional shot at one of the major titles may be within a visible distance.

The show was arranged by Alexander Popov of the Patriot Boxing Promotions.
