It´s official: SES announced today that EBU heavyweight champ Agit Kabayel (17-0 in his boxrec record, 19-2 all fights included) will make a voluntary defence against Miljan Rovcanin (18-1) on May 21 in Berlin.

In the other headliner WBO I/C heavyweight champ Tom Schwarz (20-0) takes on Senad Gashi (16-0 with all fights ending early).

The show goes ahead the Estrel Congress Center.

EC Boxing´s heavyweight Agron Skamici (11-0) will not fight in Toronto on March 24 as previously announced. Instead Skamici, trained by former EBU champ Juergen Blin, will fight on EC Boxing´s and Team Sauerland´s joint venture in Hamburg the same day.

Sauerland Event announced two upcoming shows, one at the MBS Arena in Potsdam on May 18 topped by middleweights Patrick Wojcicki vs Ronny Mittag. These were to fight this weekend in Hannover but Wojciki had to pull out due to injury.

The other show is at the Swiss Life Hall in Hannover on June 2 and feature local heroes cruiserweight Arthur Mann (12-0) and middleweight Besir Ay (8-1).

IN OTHER NEWS: The World Boxing Association (WBA), through its president Gilberto Jesus Mendoza, and its directorate members like Pedro García, support the candidacy of former Middleweight Champion, Javier Castillejo, to the 2018 Princess of Asturias Awards presented by the Spanish Boxing Association (AEBOX).

In 2006, the opportunity that he had long waited fo, came: to fight for a World Boxing Association title. He took advantage of it by defeating Felix Sturm by technical knockout. It was a match where Castillejo showed all his greatness in the ring and that reaffirmed him as one of the best fighters born in Spain.
