Adrien Broner, who plans to return to the ring on June 20th in Cincinnati, beat John Molina in a super-lightweight bout by a unanimous points decision. Former three-division world champion Broner took his record to 30-1, with the judges scoring the fight 120-108, 120-108 and 118-110. Ohio's Broner was a comfortable winner - Californian Molina rarely threatened - but that did not bother him.

“The environment I’m in today, a lot of them were not on my side, but at the end of the day the last time I fought for the crowd I took my first loss. So, no disrespect to everyone that came to see me fight today, I had to do what I had to do to get my victory today," Broner said.

“Even a vicious guy like [John] Molina, as you can see I stood right inside of his face and didn’t go anywhere. I jabbed and took every shot that he threw. I took mine and won the fight unanimously. John Molina is a great fighter. He’s tough and he can hit. I had to be careful, but at the end of the day my defense was on point like a thorn and I’m still beautiful at the end of the fight.

“He wanted me to sit there and bang it out with him, but why would I do that when God gave me so many gifts. After a while I knew he was going to start going for the guts, so I just had to stay sharp. This is my first time on NBC so I have to give it to you all. I lived up to the hype. He was swinging for the fence and I had to stay dangerous. I beat all odds tonight. I knew coming into the arena 85 percent of the people were against me. It's family time now. I just had a baby and I'm going to have some fun."
