Adrian "Confessor" Hernandez received his new WBC junior flyweight title, which he won last Saturday after stopping Gilberto Keb in ten rounds. Keb was taking a bad beating in the later rounds of the contest. When the referee did not allow Keb to enter for the eleventh round, the boxer and his corner went wild and began to shouts threats at the officials and the corner of Hernandez.

During the press gathering to showcase his new title, Hernandez made it known that he was upset because "the corner of Keb insulted the WBC and my corner, after [the referee] stopped the fight. I'll give them the rematch to shut mouths."

He wants the best challenges out there.

"From now on there will be tougher opponents, so we will train harder. In two and a half months I'll be ready for my first defense. I will prepare at the Otomi Ceremonial Center. I do not know who I'll fight. I'll speak with my agent. I would like to defend the crown in my country, but if me must, we can go abroad."
