Swedish heavyweight Adrian Granat (14-1) has parted ways with trainer and former WBO middleweight champ Armand Krajnc.

As to why, well, Granat simply stated to Expressen "we didn´t get along".

Who will take over isn´t clear yet. Granat is supposed to fight compatriot Otto Wallin for the vacant EU and Swedish heavyweight titles later in the year.

Sauerland Event writes in a press release that Klara Svensson now will be trained by Ulli Wegner and Georg Bramowski - and it is claimed that they taught Sauerland´s former First Lady Cecilia Braekhus all she knows.

Well, just for the record, Braekhus was a top class amateur before turning pro with Stonehand Promotions in Norway where she went 4-0 before joining Team Sauerland.

Cecilia left the legendary Wegner and his assistant before she left Sauerland and was then trained by Otto Ramin, who at that time also trained heavyweight Kubrat Pulev.

Light heavyweight puncher Simon Engstrom, 4-0, takes on Ondrey Budera, 5-6-1, in Norrkoping on April 7 in the first show on Swedish soil during 2018. Engstrom vs Budera is scheduled for six rounds and is thus subject to special permission from the Martial Arts Delegation.

Spanish super welterweight champ Jose Manuel Lopez Clavero defends the title against Jorge Fortea on March 16 in Malaga. Also on the bill could be a fight for the vacant EU title in super middleweight between Ronny Landaeta against an opponent to be announced. The TBA in this case is because co-challenger Adasat Rodriguez is lined up to fight in the UK against Zach Parker February 17.

Niklas Rasanen, 14-1-1, takes on Dayron Lester, 9-1, in an all-Finnish crossroads fight at made light heavyweight over ten rounds on March 9 in Espoo. Both need a win badly - Lester, from Cuba but living in Finland - comes off a knockout loss to Pavel Stepien in his last fight while Rasanen drew with Patrick Mendy and before that lost to Mariano Hilario in a fight for the EU title. In another interesting matchup on the bill middleweight Henri Kekalainen, 10-4, take on Estonian Pavel Semjonov, 22-8-2.

IBF International featherweight champ Sofiane Takoucht, 32-3-1, defends the title against Spaniard Sergio Prado, 13-7-2, March 31 in Balaruc-les-Bains (France). It´s the first defence for Takoucht, a pro since 2006, of the title he won almost a year ago.
