Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs) admits to making some big errors in preparing for his recent fight with WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko. Adamek, who trained in the United States, had issues adapting to the climate of Poland. Adamek's manager Ziggy Rozalski had advised him to hold his training camp in Poland, but he didn't listen. Klitschko stopped him in the tenth round of a one-sided fight in September. Adamek is back in training for a March return in the United States.

"I didn't have it together, like there were things that I wanted to do, but nothing happened. The errors were terrible. I did not react well to Klitschko's punches. [Trainer] Roger [Bloodworth] has no doubts, he believes that the cause of the problems were acclimatization problems. I wish I had listened to Ziggy, who advised me to prepare in Poland. On December 18 in New York, where me and Ziggy received awards from the New York Boxing Hall of Fame, the famous trainer Emanuel Steward had the same opinion [regarding the acclimatization," Adamek said.
