Foxwoods Resort, Mashantucket, Connecticut - In a fight for the WBA Fedelatin super bantamweight title, Adam Lopez (15-0, 7KOs) had a much tougher fight than he had expected in battling his way to a ten round split draw with tough as nails Roman Ruben Reynoso (18-1-1, 7KOs). The scores were 96-94 for Lopez, 97-93 for Reynoso, and 95-95 for the draw.

The action was close and Reynoso was landing his fair share of good punches. During the final minute of the tenth round, Reynoso was badly hurt by a hook and held on for dear life to survive. Reynoso's legs were in bad shape, but he managed to survive - especially after spitting out his mouthpiece to buy precious time.

IBF super bantamweight champion Jonathan Guzman (22-0, 22KOs) was at ringside, scouting Lopez to be his next opponent. Guzman grabbed the vacant belt two days ago in Japan with an eleventh round knockout of Shingo Wake. It remains to be seen if Lopez will still be the opponent.

In a super middleweight clash, Julius Jackson (19-2, 15KOs), coming off a two round knockout loss to Jose Uzcategui from last October, was blasted out by a huge counter shot at the hands of  Jerry Odom (14-2-1, 13KOs).

Odom was being outboxed in the first two rounds, and then caught Jackson cold during a good exchange in the third. Jackson went down flat on his face and had all sorts of difficulties getting up - forcing the referee to wave things off quick.

For Odum it was his first win since last March. He's been 0-1-1 in his last two fights.

O'Shaquie Foster (10-2, 7KOs) and Rolando Chinea (13-1-1, 6KOs) fought in a razor close back-and-forth inside fight, with the judges handed a split nod win to Chinea.

The scores were all over the place due to the closeness of the contest. 79-73 for Chinea, 77-75 for Foster and 78-74 for Chinea

Kicking off the ShoBox telecast - a junior middleweight contest saw Ian Green (10-1, 8KOs) pull off a stunning two round knockout of previously undefeated Khiary Gray (13-1, 10KOs).

Green was stunned several times in the first round and then he was hurt numerous times in the second. But then in the final minute of the second, Green landed a huge counter out of nowhere that send Gray crashing to the mat. He beat the count, but never regained his legs. He was battered against the rops until the referee jumped in.
