The WBA's KO To Drugs card in Panama was a mix bag of treats. The show was filled with upsets, wars and big knockouts. A vibrant crowd was present at the Arena Roberto Duran in Panama City.

In the main event, Alberto Mosquera (16-0-2, 12KOs) and Brunet Zamora (21-0-2, 10KOs) fought to a twelve round majority draw. The scores were 114 (twice) and 117-111 for Mosquera. The two boxers were fighting for the vacant WBA interim-junior welterweight crown.

In the big upset of the night, Richard Abril battered former WBA lightweight champion Miguel Acosta (29-5-2, 23KOs) over twelve rounds. Acosta, fighting for the second time since the February KO loss to Brandon Rios, went down in the fourth and twice in the tenth. The judges saw it 113-112, 117-108 and 115 -111 for Richard Abril (17-2-1, 8KOs), who picks up the vacant WBA interim-lightweight title.

In yet another upset, junior welterweight prospect Johan Perez (14-0-1, 11KOs) stopped Puerto Rico's Kenny Galarza (15-2, 14KOs) in four rounds. Perez wins the WBA's Fedalatin 140-pound title. Galarza stopped for the first time in his career.

Super bantamweight Nehomar Cermeno (20-4-1, 12KOs) went to a draw with Yoandris Salinas (13-0-1, 8KOs). The scores were 76-76, 77-75 Cermeno, 77-75 Salinas.

Rising welterweight prospect Thomas Dulorme (13-0, 10KOs) of Puerto Rico won a nine round unanimous decision over Charlie Navarro (20-5, 15KOs). The scores were 90-80 and 89-81 (twice).
