A showdown between heavyweights Otto Wallin, 20-0, and Robert Helenius, 26-2, could be on its way to happen in the early fall.

Helenius, also known as the Nordic Nightmare, has been appointed as the official challenger to the EU title held by Wallin and a fight between them make sense but perhaps more for Helenius, who needs an important win to get back into bigger fights after a somewhat flat showing in his wide points loss against Dillian Whyte.

Helenius is however currently nursing a broken right hand but is expected to be back in August or September.

Wallin beat Adrian Granat in April to win the EU title in his first major fight and looked good but is still relatively untested.

Helenius won the EBU title back in 2011 but injured his right hand and that was the beginning of a long layoff and a contractual dispute.

A rematch between former WBO super middleweight king Arthur Abraham and Dane Patrick Nielsen could be on its way.

Promoter Nisse Sauerland is telling Danish paper Ekstrabladet that a deal is close and that the fight could happen in Copenhagen in September.

Abraham won the first fight April 28 on points but many felt Nielsen had nicked it.
