Abel Sanchez left for France on Wednesday afternoon.

The world class trainer has three fighters in action on Saturday in Marseille.  Former title challenger Michel Soro (31-2-1) faces John Vera (18-0) for the interim WBA super welterweight championship while Arsen Goulamirian (22-0) takes on Ryad Merhy (24-0) for the vacant WBA cruiserweight title and Louis Toutin (9-0) goes up against Bernard Donfack (23-17-4) in a super middleweight bout.

Sanchez expects Soro to put on a great performance.

"He is doing real well. This is probably are fourth fight together now. He has been coming to camp along with Arsen. He is a hard worker. I gave him his first loss when he fought one of my champions back four or five years ago. He promised himself that he would come back and work with me and he did and now we are fighting for the interim title," said Sanchez.

Soro has won 8 out of his last 9 fights with his only loss a controversial split decision loss to WBA champion Brian Castano last July. Sanchez felt his man did enough to win their first fight and is very confident that his man will come out with the victory the second time around.

"I see him fighting a rematch against Castano next. Castano beat him in a real controversial decision in France. The judges had the scores all screwed up both ways. I see him fighting for this interim title and then beating Castano. He beat Castano the first time in my opinion but like I said the judging was off. They took forever to add them up and then they added them up wrong and then they added them up again. It was chaotic," Sanchez told BoxingScene.com.

The WBA has been consolidating their titles as they try to get down to one champion per division but have been known to not immediately enforce mandatories.  Sanchez said that he doesn't get too involved in the business aspects of the fights but believes his charge will get a shot at the full title sooner rather than later.

"I think there is some type of arrangement with the WBA because of the type of fight it was the first time they may enforce that. I am not 100% sure. I don't deal with that. I deal only with the training of the kids but hopefully it is and he gets a shot at it," Sanchez explained.
